The lineup for Lovebox festival recently dropped seeing Tyler, the Creator make his way to the headlining spot.

But while fans celebrated the incredible bill for 2020’s show, it seems there was one person feeling all the FOMO.

And the music event’s socials weren’t afraid to name and shame Dappy after his desperate plea to attend the weekend.

Taking to Twitter, the official Lovebox account shared a screengrab of their private messages, which showed the rapper sliding into their DMs.

‘Book me this time around,’ he wrote before adding: ‘Watch how I light up any stage you put me on.’

Fans hit out at the festival’s now deleted tweet (Picture: Lovebox / Twitter)

The 32-year-old then shared footage of himself performing in a short video.

But it seems the people behind the Lovebox account weren’t impressed as they captioned their upload with three cringe emojis, before quickly deleting the post.

However, it didn’t go unnoticed by fans who immediately called them out for their quip at the No Regrets hitmaker.

‘Dappy is certified legend. Lovebox need to put some respeck on his name,’ one wrote while another added: ‘Honestly what love box did to dappy is so cringe.’

Someone else said: ‘That Lovebox Dappy tweet was extremely washed. Great line up this year, but that’s extremely unprofessional.’

Despite Dappy not making the bill, Tyler, the Creator is set to make his UK festival return after he was slapped with a UK travel ban back in 2015.

This finally lifted earlier in the year, seeing the Los Angeles star throw a surprise gig in London, which was quickly shut down by security.

Tyler later returned where he played a series of shows at London’s Brixton Academy, and he’ll bring his stunning IGOR stage show back to these shores next summer for his debut UK headline performance.

Lovebox confirmed that he will headline the Sunday of their three-day festival, which will be held from 12-14 June in Gunnersbury Park, London.
