Wes Nelson has spoken out about his new relationship with blogger Alicia ‘Lissy’ Roddy and it seems like nothing can shake that man’s chill demeanour.

We strive to be that chill TBH.

The Love Islander, who previously dated co-star Megan Barton-Hanson, explained: ‘Everything is chilling.’

Referencing his previous relationship, which involved him asking Megan to be his girlfriend pretty early on, he added: ‘I’m still dating Lissy. I’m not running into a relationship again.

‘It’s nothing official yet. We’re still dating,’ he pointed out to The Sun.

The 21-year-old met Lissy, 24, at a Nasty Gal party in Dublin, which he was attending with pal Josh Denzel, and the pair have been seeing each other for a few weeks.

He’s also been described as ‘one very happy man’ after meeting his new beau. So sweet!

A source told The Sun: ‘Wes is having a really good time getting to know Lissy, they’ve been on some nice dates and they’ve been hanging out, going on shopping trips together and chilling at home.

‘Lissy’s the reason Wes was so adamant he wouldn’t be getting back with Megan. She is absolutely stunning and he’s one very happy man.’

Although the Dancing On Ice star happily left the villa with Megan last summer, they split back in January amid claims that the 25-year-old was ‘jealous’ over her boyfriend’s dance partner Vanessa Bauer.

They announced the news in a joint statement and, ever the jokers, lightened the mood by putting their own spin on Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s infamous ‘consciously uncoupling’ message, being sure to reassure fans that they would ‘co-parent’ their hamster Jon Snow.

Since, Megan got real to speak out about being cast as the Love Island ‘villain’ due to her relationship with Wes, in the wake of Mike Thalassitis’ death.

‘When I entered the Love Island villa I knew that I was outspoken and that I wouldn’t be everyone’s favourite person – but nothing could really prepare me for the vitriol I received, however much ITV tried,’ she wrote in The Sun.

‘When I came out of the villa ITV sat down with me and went through everything that had happened to make sure I was prepared but really – how can you be?

‘At the end of the day I was just an ordinary girl who had been cast as a pantomime villain because we hooked up when he was still with Laura – but my boyfriend Wes was the golden boy.’
