Love Island's Tommy Fury's cousin 'in intensive care after multiple stabbing'


Tommy Fury’s cousin is reportedly fighting for his life in intensive care after being stabbed.

Peter Fury Jnr, 28, was allegedly attacked outside The Bubble Room in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, at around 12.20am on Sunday.

Tommy was reportedly not informed of the news while he was in the Love Island villa, where he came second with Molly-Mae Hague.

Peter’s father, Peter Snr, 51, told The Sun : “He is lucky to be alive. He went through a four-hour operation.

“There were stab wounds all down the right side of his body, on his chest and arm and in the middle of his abdomen.”

But he added that Peter was making a ‘good recovery’ and it is hoped that he will be coming out of intensive care in the next 24 hours.

A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of assault.

Cheshire Police said that a second man was also stabbed during the incident outside the nightclub.

Bar staff helped Peter Jnr, who runs Fury Security, calling an ambulance, while the second man made his own way to the hospital, reports said.

A spokesperson for Cheshire police told the paper: “Officers found a 28-year-old man had been stabbed twice by two offenders.

“A second man, 28, was also stabbed. He had left the scene and taken himself to hospital.

“His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Two people from Derby were subsequently arrested.”
