Love Island’s Tom Walker models with toilet in unearthed B&Q campaign shot as his villa dreams are flushed away

Love Island star Tom Walker once modelled toilets for a B&Q campaign before signing up for a short stay in the villa.

The 29-year-old wannabe reality star posed next to a toilet basin, showing off the intricate mechanisms as he gave a pout to the camera.

“We don’t want to see #LoveIsland Tom’s chances of finding love go down the toilet, so we’re keeping everything crossed for him for tonight’s episode,” the hardware company wrote alongside the unearthed shot yesterday.

“P.s. Thanks Tom for making our forthcoming range of toilet mechanisms look 100% our type on paper!”

Alas, B&Q’s crossed fingers didn’t quite do the job and Tom left the show alongside Arabella Chi last night, having been dumped by his fellow islanders.

But before heading back to his home base, Tom was quizzed on his comments in the villa about Maura Higgins being “all mouth” before they had been due to spend the night in the hideaway

“Obviously the Hideaway comment [I regret],” Tom said. “I just got ahead of myself and I made an out of character remark.”

Tom let his mouth run away with him again later in the series by branding Maura an “OTT attention seeker” in a mini-rant that eventually made it back to her.

“Why weren’t you honest with me? Am I an attention seeker? Am I OTT? Do you honestly think that I want to speak to you?” Maura scolded him after finding out.

“You’ve nothing to say for yourself because you know you’re a bare faced liar. Why did you get into bed with me last night and kiss me last night if you think I’m an attention seeker. How dare you say those things about me.”

Attempting to defend himself, Tom sloped off to the Beach Hut and admitted he “didn’t think it was going to bite him in the a***”.

He said: “I would have apologised, I could have cleared it up, but instead she’s just screamed at me in front of everyone and then stormed off saying she doesn’t want to talk to me.

“Maybe I should have said something last night when she asked me if there was anything else. But because I was passed that personally I didn’t think it was going to come and bite me in the a***.”

Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.
