Tom Walker has used his Love Island experience to find his perfect partner but it wasn’t anyone he spent time in the villa with.
The 29-year-old has revealed that he has tied the knot with Chloe Rayner, his ‘secret’ girlfriend who he has been seeing on and off for the past decade.
Tom went into the villa on the ITV2 show in the hope of finding love and was romantically linked to Maura Higgins for a while but his stay there proved to be fruitless after she challenged him about his ‘banter’ with the other boys at her expense.
What it did do though is make him realise that Chloe was his one and only and after seeing each other for a number of years without real commitment, they decided that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
They started the new year with a bang and were married on January 2 and now Tom has shared snaps from their big day, which saw snow on the ground of their wedding venue.
Writing on Instagram, the model said: “So… We got married. After a couple of crazy years we decided to start the year off with a bit of positivity.
“Last weekend, 2.1.21 we tied the knot COVID style. We’ve been a long distance couple, on and off for almost 10 years now!
“Life experiences, all the challenges of the past few years and then plenty of thinking time, has made me realise that there is only one person I’d like to spend the rest of my life with.”
Tom continued: “So we made the decision not to waste anymore time and commit to spending rest of our lives together.
“Thanks Little One for saying yes and becoming my Wife, I can’t believe how lucky I am to have found you! When you know, you know and I know.”
Former Love Islander Amy Hart, who was on the same series as Tom, was among the celebrities to send them congratulations.
Tom’s stay on Love Island will probably be most remembered for his clash with Maura after she overheard his comments about her to others in the villa.

They were due to further their fledgling romance in the hideaway together but his crude comments about her put paid to that as she called off the their romantic date, leaving him dumb founded at what he had done – until he realised what he said was not the brightest comment to make when about to try and woo a potential girlfriend.
Fortunately for Tom, less than two years after that series, he has finally found true love.
