Love Island babe Shaughna Phillips looks set to find love in the villa after all, following the arrival of inked-up Jamie after he invited the council worker on a date.
In a teaser clip, Shaughna received an exhilarating text message telling her that Jamie is awaiting her arrival.
Following her scathing comment that she “should never have trusted a scaffolder”, the 23-year-old Manchester-born chap hits back about Jamie’s potential line of work.
Reading the text, Shaughna said: “Shaughna, Jamie has picked you for a date,” which was suddenly followed by high pitched screams echoing around the luxury villa.
Ecstatic, she screams: “Jamie, I’m coming!” before a subtle dig at her being upset over him.
Her follow romantic hopefuls later applauded, with Callum even joining in.
However, he later added: “Better not be a scaffolder.”
After laughing following his comment, Love Island viewers didn’t seem too impressed.
One tweeted: “OMG can’t wait for tomorrow night’s show @LoveIsland Shaughna’s going on a date with a new guy and he is hot. Hope it goes well she deserves it, and he is way nicer than Callum! #LoveIsIand”.
A second quipped: “Ngl (not gonna lie) I think Callum might get jealous over Shaughna finally having a date.”
While a third went and added: “Omg Shaughna has got a date with a new boy and I feel so happy for her!!”
Jamie will enter following a shocking quadruple axing from the villa.
Rebecca Gormley and Casa Amor’s Jordan were first to leave last night following a cruel public vote.
Following this, it was announced that a second couple would be sent packing, with Nas Majeed and new girl Eva being sent back to blighty.
Love Island airs daily at 9pm on ITV2
