Love Island star Samira Mighty has reportedly split from her boyfriend Alex Dean after 14 months of dating.

The 23-year-old confirmed that she was dating the Ibiza Weekender personality back in March last year.

Sources claimed the couple broke up before lockdown hit the UK and Samira is now isolating alone.

An insider told The Sun: ‘They haven’t been together in a long time.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Samira’s rep for comment.

Samira – who rose to fame on the fourth series of Love Island – had appeared smitten with Alex, posting regular selfies with the fitness fanatic.

They went public with their romance last year during a romantic holiday to Crete, with both of them sharing loved-up snaps on Instagram.

Samira had found love with Alex one year after her fling with Love Island’s Frankie Foster, 24.

The dancer and singer famously left the villa to be with Frankie, only for cheating rumours to break things up pretty swiftly.

The reality star has been keeping busy during lockdown, following in the footsteps of fellow Love Islander Montana Brown by signing up as an NHS volunteer.

Samira said last month: ‘I’ve signed up to be a volunteer, obviously I can’t drive but you can do a check in and chat with people who are in isolation or someone who is doing isolation on their own.

‘I am living alone and am in isolation alone so I know sometimes it’s really lonely and a bit of a struggle, it’s quite nice to probably help people out and that’s why I’ve done it as well.

‘It is really hard with what’s going on in the world a lot people are struggling, myself included in that. I think it would be a really nice thing to do if you can.’

She went on: ‘If you can, it would be great if you can volunteer. You’d feel so much better about yourself and helping others.’
