Love Island star Remi Lambert has claimed his time on the show was ‘ruined’ after an unaired row with Jacques O’Neill.
The model reflected on his brief stint in the villa on the YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, and admitted he and Jacques clashed multiple times, but the scenes were never broadcast.
Remi was dumped from the villa last week after he was left single in the wake of the recoupling, admitting at the time he was ‘disappointed’ to leave so soon.

As reported by The Mirror, Remi said: ‘There was of lot stuff that wasn’t aired – a lot of stuff going on.
‘So basically, me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s**t. It ruined it for me.
‘People were saying, ”It’s because he’s got a rugby persona’ – but you can’t treat people like that.”

When pressed by fellow dumped Islander Afia Tonkmore about the reason behidn the clashes, Remi added: ‘He was just trying to get on to me.’
He also claimed that Jacques would repeatedly mimic voice, saying phrases like: ‘My name’s Remi. I’m hard and I’m from Manny.’
‘It was so jarring but I was the only one to stick up for myself because he would always do that to people and I would just like stick it on him and say ”Shut up!” Remi added.
‘But yeah, we just got into a lot of fights and stuff.’

Remi also went onto reveal that he was sent death threats after being dumped from t the show.
The hunk also revealed the reason why he was reluctant to show off his rapping skills during an interview on Love Island: Aftersun, which aired on Sunday.
He admitted that he was struggling with playback on his earpiece during the interview, making it harder to do the impromptu rap for viewers.

Remi was dumped from the villa on Sunday after failing to get chosen in a recoupling.
Speaking after the vote-off he said: ‘I’m a bit disappointed – I wish I could stay longer to get to know Indiyah and Danica mostly.
‘At the same time, I feel like it was my time to leave. I was getting mixed signals and I wasn’t getting a clear answer from the girls.’
‘I feel like me and Indiyah had a connection but her and Ikenna were there from the start and they’ve built a strong connection and foundation. I just wish I’d had more time with her.’

Elsewhere, dumped Islander Afia revealed she is planning to leave the country and start a new life in Bali.
She told Heat World: ‘I don’t have many plans but I am going to move to Bali. I was always going to move to Bali and then this came about.
“Now me and my friends think it’s the best time. I feel like the UK is just not my vibe at this present moment in time.”
‘Little hippie, vegan, namaste stuff. I’m really into my health and wellness and stuff.’
