Love Island’s Ovie makes shock admission about Amber – during date with India

Things are set to get steamy on tonight’s Love Island between India Reynolds and Ovie Soko.

The duo have been coupled up and getting to know each other over the past week, but tonight they finally managed to enjoy a cozy date.

In scenes set to air tonight, Ovie receives a text which reads “India and Ovie. It’s time to get fired up on your final date. #hotunderthecollar #lit.”

And the hunky basketball player can’t hide his delight, as he races to the Beach Hut to share his excitement.

Grinning, he says: “I’m excited about going on this date with India. I’ve been waiting a while for this. It has come at the ideal time.”

Meanwhile, former Page 3 girl India seems keen too, as she also heads to the beach hut.

She says: “I’m so excited! It’s the first time I’ve left the villa since I arrived. It’s pretty hot outside and he’s hot, so I don’t know how much hotter it’s going to get!”

Later on the evening, the duo set off into the sunset for a candlelit dinner.

Ovie says: “I would say this is a hell of a start to something.”

India replies: “I’m so glad you’ve been in the villa the whole time. It’s been an amazing experience but it wouldn’t have been half as good if you hadn’t of been there.”

She adds: “I came in to meet someone but I didn’t expect to meet someone and get on with them and like them as much as I like you.”

Her shock admission appears to go down a treat with Ovie, who comes over all shy.

He tells her: “You know I don’t know how to take compliments!”

Ovie then says: “At one point, it looked like I wasn’t going to be in a romantic couple at all. I felt like I just had the role of the guardian angel over Amber.

“When I walked into that date, you stood out to me so clear. It really changed the whole experience for me. It’s brightened up my days.”

Clearly flattered, India replies: “Do you know what my favourite thing about you is? You’re always checking that I’m okay and you’ll just give me a little wink or a nod.”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
