Love Island's Molly 'planning to date Callum' after Islanders cruelly dump them

Molly Smith and Callum Jones are ‘planning to date’ despite other Love Island couples dumped them for being ‘incompatible’.

Despite having their time cut short on the ITV2 dating show, with the final in sight, 25-year-old Molly claimed that ‘fate’ brought them together and she was looking forward to developing her relationship with 23-year-old scaffolder Callum.

In her exit interview, Molly said there is plenty to be positive about despite being dumped from the show, as she now has a chance to get to know Callum away from the villa.

Fate may have had a hand as after the pair had flown to Cape Town in South Africa to find love, they have found that they live just minutes away from each other in Manchester.

Molly said: “We get on really well, we’ve got similar interests, he always makes me laugh.

“I feel at ease with him, if someone makes me feel like that it’s a good sign. My family will love him. My dad will love him. He’ll just have to try and impress my big brothers!

“I’m nervous about meeting his family, I get nervous in general about meeting parents. I’m sure it’ll be alright, he said they’ll like me.”

The first date seems that it could be a walk in the path for the both of them… literally and with their dogs in tow.

After being asked if dating had been discussed, Molly replied: “Yes, a walk with the dogs. The dogs have got to be a priority in this!

“I think the dogs will get on. Mine is a bit of a diva but I’m sure she’ll be fine. We live close to each other at home, maybe 15 minutes apart. It’s weird we haven’t bumped into each other before.

“We also found out we were on holiday at the same time last year at the same event, how weird is that? We probably crossed paths.

“I’m a massive believer in fate, law of attraction, all that stuff. So maybe it is meant to be.”

The brutal dumping from the villa saw the Islanders save Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu at the expense of Callum and Molly.

Callum has faced criticism online for dropping Shaughna Phillips when he met Molly in Casa Amor, returning to the main villa with her.

Shaughna had stayed faithful to him and was naturally furious with the situation as she felt humiliated.

Over time though, she struck up a friendship with Molly but she still vowed to steer clear of scaffolders when her time was up on the show.
