Love Island’s Maura Higgins pro-sex attitude lands her six-figure deal with Ann Summers

Love Island’s Maura Higgins is certainly not shy when it comes to all things sex-related and her penchant for the saucy stuff has paid off.

The Irish reality star has reportedly landed a six-figure deal with Ann Summers, as they feel Maura is the ‘ideal celebrity’ to front their latest campaign.

Well, she did put ‘fanny flutters’ on the map, was never afraid to talk about sex while in the villa and her keenness to get down and dirty with boyfriend Curtis Pritchard in the bedroom was probably one of the most-talked about scenes to play out.

Plus, she’s already proved she can rock a bikini, so we can see why the company wants Maura modelling their lingerie.

Sources told The Sun: ‘Not only has [Maura] got a bubbly and fun-loving personality, but she’s open about loving sex and has a fantastic figure.’

It comes after Maura was recently praised as a sex-positive icon, as she refuses to be ashamed about sex.

Remember that time she basically told Tom Walker where to go after he called her ‘all mouth’ before their hideaway date? Well, it turned the straight-talking beauty into a feminist hero – something she never expected.

Speaking to Grazia, Maura said: ‘I never realised I was a feminist! I just stand up for myself, and I won’t let anyone talk s*** about me. And you know, I do talk about sex, but so do guys.’

‘I think a lot of women are afraid to talk about sex, but it’s a natural thing,’ she explained. ‘Why not talk about it? I grew up always being able to talk to my mammy and daddy. I don’t feel ashamed.’
