She may have been voted out of the villa a while ago, but Lucie Donlan was all smiles in Manchester this week, ahead of the Love Island final on Monday.
The former contestant was seen at Manchester Station on Friday, as she pulled a big suitcase and carried a holdall for her travels.
Lucie had been in Manchester for a meet and greet with fans at clothing brand I Saw It First’s HQ in the city, where they have even built a replica fire pit, just like the one in the villa – so we’re sure she felt right at home.
I Saw It First has been the clothing partner for this year’s series, supplying the contestants with their seemingly never ending changes of clothes.
Despite being seen cosying up with former Island beau Joe Garratt, Lucie denied the couple would be getting back together, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘We saw each other at the ITV party. We’re just staying as friends.
‘For me we had an amazing two weeks at the beginning and a great connection. It was so much fun and I really did like him.
‘Obviously I chose to stay and met George [Rains], and then the Tommy [Fury] thing. I think now I need to chill out a bit.
‘It was a bit full on. I put so much effort into each guy and now I need to have a breather and see what happens.’
Lucie had originally paired up with Joe in the villa, but got together with George after Joe was voted off the show and then eventually confessed to Tommy that she wished she had stuck with him all along. Phew.
This year’s Love Island final will take place on Monday 29 July, as the remaining couples battle it out to see who will walk away as winners with the £50,000 prize money.
