Joanna Chimonides has slammed claims she kissed ex Michael Griffiths at a London music festival yesterday.
The pair attended Kisstory on the Common along with their fellow Love Island pals, and were spotted getting cosy in the backstage area together.
Michael danced and chatted to his Love Island ex, and at one point leaned in for a “kiss”.
However, the London recruitment consultant has revealed this was not the case.
Taking to her Instagram story earlier today, she fumed: “Yesterday was amazing.
“I thought I was also bring this to your attention, but there are pictures of Michael and I so-called kissing.
“We weren’t kissing. He said something in my ear, and I found it funny.
“I don’t hold on to hate, I don’t hold on to negativity. For me, it’s been a lot easier for me to let go of hate, because that is just how I am.
“I am so happier right now, because I’ve let go of the negativity and moved past it.
“It’s ok to be friends with someone you were with.
She added: “Yesterday it was so nice, and everyone had such a laugh. Just to clear it up, we weren’t kissing.”
The pair first met during the Casa Amor twist in the show, which saw the firefighter pick Joanna over Amber Gill, who he was originally coupled with.
His decision sent shockwaves through the villa, and didn’t sit well with viewers at home.
Days later Joanna was voted off, and although Michael admitted he found “everything he’d looked for”, he decided to stay, which caused friction between the duo.
Joanna and Michael reunited after their Love Island fall out.
An angry Joanna grabbed him by the face and labelled him “a f***ing snake”, and insisted in post-show interviews she wouldn’t rekindle a romance with him.
Maybe it’s a not-so-happy ending after all…
