Love Island star Georgia Harrison has shared the final text message she sent to Mike Thalassitis before his tragic death.

Earlier this year, the reality star died by suicide after he was found in a North London park.

And it turns out his showbiz buddy had checked in on him before he took his own life, asking whether or not he was okay.

Taking to Instagram, Georgia told her 881,000 followers that she was currently thinking about Mike, and uploaded a screenshot of their conversation before he passed away.

‘How are u xx’ the star wrote in a direct message, to which Mike said: ‘Alright Georgia. Yea good. You?’

She went onto confess that she was looking forward to seeing his new cafe, adding: ‘I’m coming down soon as you open.’

Reflecting on their conversation, the 24-year-old wrote: ‘I messaged you this day because I had a feeling I should check on you.

‘It was like I got this weird sense of anxiety about you and I thought I need to message him ASAP but you acted like everything was fine.’

Georgia then told her fans how much she was thinking about Mike next to a picture of the late star.

She said: ‘Thinking about you a lot today boy. Wish I could turn back time and just have a chat with you and work through it.

The TV personality continued: ‘@Mike_thala you were so positive last time I saw you we were loving the magic and I thought you were all good.

‘But I really regret that I had to leave that night because if we had stayed out together you might of opened up more.’

Just last month, an inquest at North London Coroner’s Court recorded Mike’s death as a suicide, with his cause of death ruled as cerebral hypoxia by hanging.

Police confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mike’s death, with no third party involved.

PC Emma Clawson told the court that a black notebook was found near Mike’s body containing diary entries and letters, with notes at the back of the book addressed to his family sharing his intentions to end his life.

She said: ‘I looked through the notebook it was a combination of a diary and letters and positive thoughts. At the back of the diary there were a number of notes addressed to his family.’
