Love Island's Ekin-Su is totally unrecognisable in throwback snaps from university

Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is unrecognisable in her throwback university snaps.

The 27-year-old actress has been making waves on the ITV2 dating show and appears to leave behind her romance with Davide Sanclimenti to pursue bombshell Islander Jay Younger in forthcoming scenes.

While Ekin-Su’s birth name name translates to ‘spring’ or ‘planting a seed’ in Turkish, the bombshell went by another moniker during her time studying at the University of Central Lancashire.

The stunning Islander used the name Susie Hayzel for a number of years.

A Facebook page formerly used by Ekin-Su whilst she was known as Susie shows her looking remarkably different.

As Susie Hayzel, Ekin-Su can be seen sporting darker brunette locks.

On the abandoned Facebook page, she lists herself as an actor and the reigning Miss Ireland and can be seen posing with friends in a variety of short dresses.

During her university years, Ekin-Su also starred in another reality show.

The livewire appeared in the short-lived reality show Lancashore, which was dubbed a ‘reality following the lives of a group of students in Preston’, in her first year studying Performing Arts.

Ekin-Su later moved to Turkey.

She successfully landed a role on a soap opera in the country before appearing on Love Island this summer and swiftly turning heads.

As well as being branded this year’s Toby Aromolaran by fans of the show, Ekin-Su’s secret connection to GMB presenter Richard Arnold has also been exposed.

During recent scenes, she has been seen flirting up a storm with new arrivals Jay and Remi Lambert.

Her match-making tactics have also led to some controversy away from the villa.

Following her recent snub of former love interest Davide, the Italian star’s family were accused of ‘s**t-shaming’ Ekin-Su in a since deleted social media post.

Ekin-Su and Davide attracted attention earlier in the series with a cringe-inducing snog.

Love Island continues at 9pm tonight (June 16) on ITV2.
