Love Island’s Dr Alex George warns not to have sex with anyone new during coronavirus pandemic

Love Island star Alex George has warned not to have sex with anyone new as the global coronavirus crisis continues.

The doctor advised that you’ll have to keep it in your pants until things calm down.

Dr Alex, who works in A&E, told BBC Newsbeat that it’s not safe to have sex with a new partner incase you or they contract the virus.

But if you’re already living with your other half, then you can still get busy.

He said: If you’re in a relationship… living with that person, and sharing the same environment, it shouldn’t change your situation.

‘However if one of you is displaying symptoms of coronavirus then you should maintain your social-distancing and isolate, even within your home.

‘In an ideal world everyone would stay two metres apart — even in their own house, but we realise this may not be realistic.

‘I certainly wouldn’t advise having new sexual partners at the moment, because the risk is you could pass on the virus.

‘If you’ve kissed or been in contact with someone who you think has gone on to develop coronavirus, make sure you self-isolate.’

There are alternatives available during these strange times. Maybe an online sex party might be up your street?

The 28-year-old, who is currently self-isolating from girlfriend Amelia Kabath but healthy, has been offering advice to fans on social media.

He was recently moved to tears when a young girl made a card thanking the NHS for all their hard work during the crisis.

The doctor, who is on a zero hour contract at Lewisham hospital, previously called for free parking for NHS staff as the outbreak continues.
