Love Island’s Dom Lever has sung the praises of his ‘amazing’ hair transplant after going under the knife to restore his receding hairline.

The TV personality, who last week confirmed the birth of his first child with fellow Islander Jess Shears, visited Kent’s KSL Clinic for the treatment, with the specialist surgery having previously treated stars including Gareth Gates, Jake Quickenden and Love Island’s Alex Beattie.

Filming the process for MailOnline, the 28-year-old documented the second stage of his procedure with KSL’s Dr Matee, admitting that the experience had so far been virtually pain-free.

‘Other than the anesthetic going in, I didn’t feel a single thing,’ he said.

‘Now it’s just putting [the hairs] into the front of my head. I can’t wait to get finished really.’

Coming back post-surgery, the new dad told the cameras: ‘That’s me done for the day, had the hair transplant as you can see. It’s been amazing, literally took half the time I thought it would.’

He continued: ‘Everyone here’s been amazing, made me feel super welcome, and I literally didn’t feel a thing.’

We’re glad to hear it Dom!

It’s been an exciting October for the star, who just a week ago introduced his new baby with 26-year-old Jess to the world.

Despite sharing some adorable snaps of the bubba, whose name and sex is currently unknown, to Instagram, Jess sadly found herself being trolled online after heading to the gym a few days after posting about the birth of their child.

Luckily, Jess hit back with a kick-ass response to silence her critics.

‘Can people stop assuming they know anything about the birth of our child,’ she wrote. ‘Just because we chose to share an image yesterday doesn’t mean that’s when they were born.’

The new mum added: ‘Dom, baby and I are happy, healthy and recovering at our own rate.’

Preach, girl.
