Curtis Pritchard’s been a busy boy since leaving Love Island – he’s only gone and got himself a job on The Greatest Dancer.

The professional ballroom dancer will take on the role of receptionist in the dance competition when it returns to TV screens next year.

The 23-year-old’s beaming face is the first thing contestants will see when they get to the studios for their audition and he’ll be the one to ‘build them up and have fun with them’.

Curtis announced the exciting news on The Scott Mills Show on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday, and said he was ‘honoured’ to get the job.

‘Early next year, I am going to be on The Greatest Dancer, and I’m going to be taking on the receptionist role,’ he said.

The dancer, who also has a role lined up in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, added: ‘I’m there to build them up and have fun with them.’

During the chat, Scott also asked Curtis if he’d like to be a Strictly Come Dancing pro and was met with the perfect cryptic response.

‘Who knows what the future holds,’ Pritchard said mysteriously.

He went on to add: ‘Well it would be great to work with AJ. […] The Cliftons, Mabuses, it was a family show but now it’s becoming a VERY family show’.

Curtis, who is currently still with his Love Island partner Maura Higgins, recently made headlines with his open-minded take on sexuality.

The Dancing With The Stars alum told The Sun that he would be open to a same-sex relationship, saying: ‘I’ve been with women and I’m with a woman now.

‘You can never put a label on anything.’
