He found himself in a pretty tense love triangle with India Reynolds and Harley Brash at one point, but that hasn’t stopped Chris Taylor from admitting he does fancy India.
The kimono-wearing star of this year’s series, who was booted out the villa on Wednesday (why, God, WHY?), made his feelings clear about the beauty therapist.
In his exit interview, Chris said: ‘Of course I fancied her. She’s a lovely girl, very entertaining, funny, gets on with everyone.
‘I’d be lying if I said I didn’t fancy her – she’s a nice looking girl. I mean probably everyone in the UK fancies her!’
Oh, Chris. Know when to stop.
But the 28-year-old added that after being initially ‘blinded’ by India (we don’t blame him), he realised how suited he was to Harley.
He said: ‘When India came in, I was a bit blinded by her, I had the blinders on like the horses with the blinders on when they’re doing a march type thing.
‘And there was a moment when I actually looked at Harley and thought, “You know what, she’s an absolute snack – and she’s funny”.’
Chris explained that the age gap with the stunning blonde, 20, had been an issue at the start.
‘The original reason I had reservations about Harley is because of the age difference, I’m 28 and she’s 20,’ he admitted.
‘It took me a bit of time to get to know her, it took me a bit of time to realise in actual fact that we are on the same wave length. I had discounted Harley before I had even spoken to her.’
He went on: ‘When I actually started speaking to her, I was like, “You know what, she is quality, she is a nice girl. She is very funny, very mature, she’s got her head screwed on.”
‘No, if India had been into me, I would have still have done the same thing that I did.’
And that, friends, is why we need to marry Chris ASAP.
And also elect him for Prime Minister. During the wedding.
Chris, who also weighed in on the secret ‘flirting’ between Jordan Hames and India, got himself into a bit of a pickle with Harley when he awkwardly said he and India were ‘meant to be’.
The villa’s resident funnyman dug himself out of the deep, dark hole however, by presenting Harley with a cracking (pun intended) ‘apology breakfast’.
