Love Island’s Amy Hart got boob job for 21st birthday paid by her grandparents

The latest batch of twenty-something hotties looking for love while permanently in swimwear have been revealed.

And as always, it turns out that plenty of the Love Island class of 2019 have links to public life – whether that’s being the brother of a famous boxer or a Strictly Come Dancing professional, dating a former islander, or going to the press about your cosmetic surgery.

New islander Amy Hart made the news back in 2014 after she revealed that she got a boob job courtesy of her grandparents.

Now 26, Amy asked her nan and grandad Dee and Harry to pay for her breast enhancement for her 21st birthday, after years of feeling self-conscious about her ‘flat chest’.

After asking her mother Susanna to pay for the op, she was shut down – so Amy turned to her doting grandparents. While they were initially hesitant, air hostess Amy said that she’d take out a commercial loan if she didn’t get any help – resulting in her grandparents lending her the money.

Days later, Amy booked in the £5,000 procedure with a private surgeon and went from a 34A to a 34DD cup.

She said: ‘I’ve always been flat-chested and all my friends are really skinny with massive boobs and I would actually hide and refuse to sunbathe next to them.

‘Now I never worry about putting on a bikini or a nice dress to go out because my boobs are ample enough to fill them. And it’s all thanks to my grandma and granddad.’

Amy also compared the procedure to getting veneers, saying: ‘When I was 17 I had veneers for my teeth and they made me so much more confident and willing to smile I figured that it would be a similar story with my boobs.’

She added that she was paying her grandparents back bit by bit for the loan, and went on to compete in pageants after getting a boost in confidence from her new silhouette.

Now, Amy is starring on one of the biggest series on telly, with the Worthing-born cabin crew manager joining Yewande Biala, Lucie Donlan, Amber Gill, Anna Vakili, Anton Danyluk, Tommy Fury, Joe Garratt, Michael Griffiths, Sherif Lanre, Callum Macleod and Curtis Pritchard on the fifth series of Love Island.

She said: ‘I’m going in there to find the one but I’m also going there to have an amazing summer and meet amazing friends as well. I’m a real girl’s girl and I do believe in girl code.

‘My best friends at home are my best friends because we have the same taste in alcohol but different taste in men. I hope that the girls won’t have the same taste in men as me but you don’t know what’s going to happen until you’re in there.’

Amy’s taste in men has sparked crushes on Liam Hemsworth and Ashley Banjo – plus Simon Cowell and David Walliams. No judgement.

Love Island begins on 3 June on ITV2.
