Former Love Island winner Amber Gill has opened up about her dating struggles since leaving the show as she reveals ‘everyone expects me to do wrong’.

The 22-year-old, who has recently signed up to a Just Eat campaign with fellow islander Ovie Soko, has spoken out after pictures of her ‘getting close’ with Joe Garratt surfaced.

Amber told Metro.co.uk: ‘Everyone just expects me to do something wrong and I’m actually not doing anything wrong at all.

‘So I can be pictured doing absolutely nothing and everybody’s making it into something, and there’s nothing really to it.’

When questioned about Joe, who has reportedly just split from Lucie Donlan, she continued: ‘There’s nothing going on.

‘Everybody wants me to be with somebody but when I am with someone you will all know about it.’

Amber, who also told how she was excited about the new series but advises the new line-up to ‘stay true to themselves’.

She added to Metro.co.uk: ‘I can’t wait to watch it but if I had to give them a piece of advice it would be to stay true to themselves.
