Love Islanders face tense decision to vote against each other in elimination bombshell

Things are going to get tense in the Love Island villa as tonight the couples are forced to go up against each other.

In this evening’s episode couples will brutally vote for the two pairs which they believe are the least compatible.

In the taster for tonight’s dramatic episode, contestants were left shocked when Nas read out the news, announcing: “Each couple must vote for the two couples they think are the least compatible.”

As in previous Love Island seasons, the couples will then privately discuss who they want to nominate before the results are announced in front of the fire pit.

The pairs with the most votes will then risk being dumped from the villa for good, although it is unclear so far how bosses might twist the elimination.

Could Jess be swayed by Mike’s advances?

At this point, it is not certain that both partners in the nominated couple will be kicked out but someone’s exit from the house is certainly on the horizon.

It’s not just the shock vote that will have viewers gripped in tonight’s drama-filled episode.

In the teasers for this evening the ongoing saga between Mike and Luke M, as they compete for Jess’ affections, begins to reach boiling point.

Could this be the end for Wallace and Rebecca?

The blonde bombshell, who is currently coupled up with the Justin Bieber look-a-like appears to be somewhat swayed by Mike’s desperate attempts to win her over.

What’s more, another couple appear to be on the rocks as Wallace Gormley and Wallace Wilson admit that there simply isn’t any spark between them, and will not be pursuing things romantically.

Quite the contrary appears to be the case for Shaughna and Callum, who discuss their relationship status with their fellow contestants in tonight’s show.

Callum gives a confident “yeah deffo,” when asked if he’s exclusive.

There’s plenty of struggling couples that the Islanders could focus their attention on this evening and the question of tactical voting might also arise.

But, the biggest curve ball is the anticipation of Cara Amor’s return later on this weekend.

On Sunday the couples will be put through their paces when the boys are sent to another villa and six new boys and girls are flung into the mix.
