Love Island winners Finley Tapp and Paige Turley 'CONFIRM' they had sex on TV

Everyone presumed it – especially Ched.

But Love Island’s Finley Tapp and Paige Turley appear to have confirmed that they had sex in the villa during nighttime scenes aired last week.

The couple – who won the show on Sunday night – were seen in a clinch under the covers, underwear and microphones tossed aside, with viewers left guessing precisely what they were up to.

And the pair have seemingly clarified this in their post-show interview with ITV.

Referencing the term ‘breakfast’ – which was the male contestants’ code word for sex – Paige, 22, and Finn, 20, were asked whether they were surprised that ‘breakfast happened’.

To which they both answered: ‘Yes!’

Paige elaborated: ‘Being in there and sharing a bed for so long and having genuine feelings, it’s hard to fight them.’

Finn added: ‘You go in there and you think, “I’m not going to do it”, all of this, all of that, but then you’re living 24/7 having genuine solid, feelings for someone and are really attracted to them!

‘And some of them bikinis – phwoar!’

‘My dad’s going to read this, shut up!’ Paige then chimed in.

Referring to the less-than-imaginative boys’ Breakfast Club, Paige seemed non-plussed, saying: ‘That’s lad banter – so whatever. The code was intellectual for the boys. They were terrible at hiding it – I knew exactly what was going on.’

With Finn swiftly insisting: ‘It was all light-hearted!’

Elsewhere, it was revealed that Finn could find himself in hot water with Oxford City football club when he returns to the UK, after breaching his contract by jetting to South Africa mid-season to appear on Love Island.

The club’s commercial director Mick Livesey revealed on Monday that he understood why Finley would snap up an opportunity to appear on the ITV2 reality show, but confirmed the star would still need to complete his contract.

Mick told BBC Radio Oxford: ‘He was [in breach of his contract] but I think you need to take a pragmatic sort of view: A 20-year-old lad, he’s offered all this reality TV stuff.

‘He has a contract, so he has to finish the contract he has with the football club. He’s done very, very well for us.

‘As a football club, we wish Finn all the best and I can understand everything that’s going on but we have a duty of care for Finn and we’ve got a duty of care for the football club.’

Mick also revealed that the club would now be including clauses in contracts to ensure future players wouldn’t be tempted to stray from their sporting commitments.

He added: ‘We’re an ambitious football club, we’re going from strength to strength and we’re looking to build. This hasn’t been ideal. It is probably disruptive to the club and results.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Finley Tapp for comment.

Finley signed for Oxford City – who currently sit 12th in sixth tier National League South – last summer after he was released by MK Dons.

On Sunday he and girlfriend Paige were crowned Love Island champions, after delighting viewers with their blossoming romance.

Paige and Finn looked delighted to be announced the winning duo – despite fans and bookies gunning for Luke Trotman and Siânnise Fudge to take home the win.

Gobsmacked Finn declared, ‘How the f**k have I blagged that?’, after host Laura Whitmore announced them as the series champions.

Before it was announced, Laura interviewed the final two couples, with Paige revealing she worried Finn was dumping her when he was in fact asking her to be his girlfriend.

‘At first I thought he was dumping me. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was lovely,’ she said, before adding: ‘I want us to get a dog.’

When Laura asked if she should be buying a hat – for a wedding – Finn nodded and said yes.

The hunk missed the point of Laura’s remark, suddenly backtracking and saying ‘oh, no!’ as Paige boasted she now had a husband.

Paige and Finn were this series’ first official couple, after hitting it off just hours after the hunk arrived in the villa.

The couple are expected to return to the UK in the coming days, where they will reunite with their friends and loved ones.
