Love Island winner Greg O’Shea has missed having facial surgery because he’s too busy

Love Island winner Greg O’Shea is so busy after leaving the villa he’s had to skip out on facial surgery.

The 24-year-old rugby player has been touring the country after his win, and hasn’t had time to return home for the facial corrective surgery after breaking bones in his face.

Speaking to Loose Women alongside Amber Gill, Greg admitted that he had to bail on the

Quizzed by Andrea McLean, Greg laughed as she asked: ‘You’ve injured your head? You’ve got bones coming through your face or something?!’

Explaining it was a rugby injury, the Irish star explained: ‘I don’t know if you can notice but I’ve a broken nose and a cracked forehead.’

As Janet Street-Porter poked at his face, she recoiled as she felt a lump just above his right eye.

‘I was supposed to go home and get the operation done at a lovely hospital called Santry, but it just didn’t play out,’ he explained.

‘Now is the worst time to go and get facial surgery,’ Greg continued. ‘Shave all my head and the whole thing, I’d be out of action.’

After taking home the £50,000 prize money, Greg and Amber have been in high demand and have spent most of their time in the UK, meaning Greg is yet to return to his native Limerick, Ireland.

While on Loose Women, the pair were grilled about their relationship, including a particularly awkward line of questioning from Coleen Nolan about their sex lives.

Despite a persistent line of questioning, the pair refused to comment on their time together, leading to a number of awkward stares and quiet moment.

Turns out these guys want to keep that part of their romance private, who’d have thought?!

The couple, while not saying they’re official just yet, confirmed that they were ‘exclusive’ with each other.

However, after only knowing each other a month they wanted to wait and do it at their own pace.
