Love Island: Who left Love Island tonight? Who was dumped?

The final couple to be dumped from Love Island was left up to the remaining Islanders to decide in tonight’s episode (July 26). All five remaining couples had to choose one pairing to leave the Love Island villa just days before Monday’s grand finale, a decision each Islander found particularly tough. The nominated couples then faced a public vote to be saved, but who left Love Island and which couple narrowly missed out on a place in the ITV2 series final?

Anton’s partner read aloud: “Islanders. Tonight, each couple must secretly vote for one other couple that they think should be dumped from the Island.

“You must now discuss in your couples who you’re going to choose and why, before submitting your decision by text. You must not discuss your decision with anyone else.

“The couples with the most votes risk being dumped from the Island.”

Predictably, the news didn’t go down well, prompting a “f****** hell,” from Curtis Pritchard and open-mouthed gasp from India Reynolds.

The ITV2 reality stars each then spoke privately as they debated which couple would not make the Love Island final.

Following their choices, the couples at risk of being dumped were:

  • Ovie and India
  • Curtis and Maura
  • Anton and Belle

Ovie and India received two votes, Curtis and Maura were voted for twice also while Anton and Belle received one vote

That means either one of the three mentioned couples will leave following a public vote.

WHAT HAPPENED TO LOVE ISLAND’S ANTON? WHY DID HE LEAVE THE VILLA?

Love Island viewers were left on the edge of their seats by the results but will have to wait until Sunday’s penultimate episode of the series (July 28) to find out which couple were dumped.

One thing that is for sure, is that Tommy and Molly-Mae and Amber and Greg are safe and have secured a place in Monday’s final.

The decisions were particularly hard on each of the Islanders who had been in the villa since day one.

Amber Gill, Tommy, Curtis and Anton all began their Love Island journeys on the very first day of the series.

Despite heads turning and tear-filled recouplings, all four managed to make it to within a few days of the final.

WHEN DOES THE FIRST LOVE ISLAND 2020 SERIES START?

Molly-Mae was the first new Love Island arrival this year.

Maura Higgins entered not too long after, alongside Elma Pazar.

Belle and Ovie Soko joined the cast as part of this year’s Casa Amor twist.

India and Greg O’Shea only entered the villa last week but made a quick enough impression to make it to the final few days.

With the dumped couple’s density still under wraps, it’s hard to predict who’s in the running for the Love Island crown.

One thing is for sure, and that is the final few episodes will be unmissable.

Love Island 2019 concludes on Monday, July 29 at 9pm on ITV2.
