Love Island star Yewande Biala has slammed claims allegedly made by Lucy Donlan that she ‘bullied’ her on the show.

The pair appeared on the ITV dating series in 2019 along with Amber Gill, who went on to win.

Unearthed Instagram comments, seemingly from Lucie, were shared on Reddit and social media on Monday.

In the comments she appeared to be responding to a fan who asked about a YouTube video Yewande filmed with fellow islander Joe Garrett last year, in which she apparently blasted Lucie – Joe’s ex-girlfriend – as a ‘horrible person’.

Lucie allegedly replied to the fan: ‘She’s always bullied me, I’m not bothered about her opinion…makes her look bad. Not sure where she said that though!’

When the fan told her to ‘keep winning’, Lucie responded with two red heart emoji.

Yewande had some choice words for Lucie on Twitter, writing: ‘You refused to call me by my name because it was too “hard to pronounce” now you wanna say I bullied you !! Bullied!’

Amber stuck up for her friend and replied: ‘Na when she said can I call you “Y” I said lol no you can’t can I just call you “her” you were peaceful in that exchange It was me with the vim (sic)’.

The 2019 champ later posted: ‘Call me problematic. But if I see something false or that I don’t like I’m speaking regardless and if it’s about my friend I’m yelling idc (sic)’.

This prompted Amy Hart, another Love Island 2019 star, to tweet in response: ‘I bit my tongue today, tomorrow may be different.’

Lucie has claimed she was ‘bullied’ by other girls in the villa before, but did not name anyone. It is unknown if she was talking about Yewande at the time.

She told The Sun after leaving the villa of an incident around the time she expressed interest in islander Tommy Fury despite him making it clear he liked Molly-Mae Hague.

Lucie said: ‘There was one night when I was really upset, because the girls had drilled it into Joe that I shouldn’t be spending all this time with Tommy.

‘He came to talk to me about it but I was more upset by what they had done. After that, I didn’t really want to speak to them because I felt I couldn’t trust them enough. I thought if I did, they might b***h about me behind my back.

‘I can remember sitting there crying and thinking, “Will it be like this all the way through? Oh God, I won’t be able to cope with that”. Love Island was meant to be fun.

‘All I wanted was to have a laugh and try to find a boyfriend. But those girls are not like me. They like drama. It was like being in a school playground. I felt really alone and I didn’t know who I could talk to.’
