Love Island stars 'millionaires in months' – as agent reveals which will earn the most

The most popular contestants are being tipped to be millionaires within months. And their earning potential is set to easily outstrip stars from previous years.

Viewer ratings have hit six million – the highest ever for ITV2.

Showbiz agent Dermot McNamara said: “This series has been nothing short of a phenomenon. The contestants have the opportunity to earn a lot of money.

“ITV executives have seen how popular this lot have been with viewers, so they’ll want to get them on to other shows, which will keep them in the public eye.”

The couples are set to cash in with lucrative deals within hours of leaving the TV villa tomorrow night.

They will net big money for TV jobs, nightclub appearances and endorsements.

And they will get even more cash by promoting products on their social media channels – for around £30,000 a time.

Maura Higgins, Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard are being tipped to earn the most.

Dermot said: “It’s the standout characters who have the biggest earning potential. Maura has emerged a bit of a feminist heroine so it’s likely she’ll be offered a lot of TV work.

“Tommy will do very well. He can make the most of his boxing background while also doing more reality TV. And he can do some projects with Molly-Mae for as long as they’re a couple.

“Curtis already has a fanbase in Ireland, which he can build on. And everyone adores Ovie, so he’ll do well too.

“Even the less popular contestants like Anton can do quite well if they make the right choices.”

Contestants who secured an agent before going into the Love Island villa are set to earn more money than their rivals.

Dermot added: “Those who already have representation will come out to find they have plenty of work already arranged.

Dani Dyer

“The others will be playing catch-up and will lose out in the long term.”

Curtis has already landed a role on the UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which will air on the BBC this autumn.

And former contestant Amy Hart has joined Loose Women since quitting the villa earlier this month.

A string of Love Island stars, including Amber Davies, Olivia Attwood and Dani Dyer have become millionaires in the past.
