Love Island star Faye Winter wants old job back after turbulent villa stint


Love Island finalist Faye Winter has asked her previous employer for her job back as she’s not accustomed to the influencer lifestyle.

The brunette bombshell, who came third place alongside her partner Teddy Soares worked as a lettings agent in Exeter before entering the popular ITV show.

But although her life has changed dramatically in the last few weeks, the star has confessed that she longs to return to her old life.

Daily Star have contacted Faye’s employer for comment, however her manager was away on holiday at the time.

Despite racking up the followers on Instagram and being signed to talent management company, Faye, 26, has confessed she’s not used to it and only recently visited London for the first time.

Talking to Grazia, the fiery contestant admitted that the first thing she did when she left the villa was call her old management.

But although Faye had hopes of returning back to work, her previous boss encouraged her to take all the opportunities she can get.

She said: “He said, I don’t think you understand that you need to take all these opportunities coming your way.”

Now her time on Love Island has come to an end, Faye has been splitting her time Devon and London.

The reality star also plans to move in with her boyfriend Teddy who currently lives in Manchester.

Speaking openly on Capital XTRA, the blonde bombshell told the presenter she wasn’t letting Teddy get away any time soon and she’s certainly in for the long haul.

Faye said: “We are looking for somewhere together to live, that is main priority number one. Now that we’ve got amazing management sorted, we can then look at doing things like that [marriage and kids].”

But although Faye’s job admission may come as a surprise to some, she isn’t the first contestant from this year’s series who contacted their manager for their role back.

Georgia Townend, 28, has already returned to her old day job at supermarket chain Lidl.

Last week, the marketing executive shared a video with fans as she returned to her office premises and explained some of her responsibilities.

She said: “My degree is in food and nutrition so that is my passion project, that’s always been my area of expertise.

“During my degree I did a placement year and I worked in food manufacturing, which I really enjoyed, but I knew when I graduated I wanted to move retail side, because for me the joy for me comes out in bringing end product to customer.”

The star added: “So when I graduated I joined Lidl on the graduate scheme, that was about six years ago, I’m obviously not on the graduate scheme anymore, my role’s in a marketing function.

“There’s lots of things that fall into my remit of responsibility.”
