Love Island shock twist as Casa Amor WON’T get a video from main villa this year – and Amber will have no idea Michael’s kissed Joanna

A SHOCK Love Island Twist means that Casa Amor WON’T get a video postcard from the main villa this year – so Amber Gill will have no idea that her partner Michael Griffiths has kissed Joanna Chimonides.

Other bombshell revelations, such as Curtis Pritchard admitting that his head has been turned and that he doesn’t find “half girlfriend” Amy Hart “physically attractive” will also go unknown.

Detailing the surprise twist, a source told The Sun Online: “This year, Islanders won’t get a video or a postcard from the other villa – leaving them completely in the dark over who has stayed loyal and who has been cheating.

“So that means their imaginations will be running wild – nobody will be any the wiser who has had their head turned.

“Anything can happen in the recoupling – it’s going to be explosive when the villas reunite.”

Fans have been left horrified after Michael and Curtis both snubbed their current partners in favour of the new stunning Islanders.

The only man to remain completely faithful is Tommy Fury, who has refused to entertain the idea of getting to know any of the newbies as he awaits the return of Molly-Mae Hague.

Meanwhile, Michael has grown close to Joanna – with a sneak peek at today’s episode of the programme teasing their first kiss.

Curtis has also disappointed viewers, telling model Jourdan Riane that she’d turned his head – and the preview showing the professional dancer confess that he would choose her over air stewardess Amy.

Molly-Mae, Amy, and Amber have all remained loyal to their men in the Casa Amor villa.

Elsewhere, Anna Vakili has grown close to hunky Ovie Soko, while her current partner Jordan Hames has admitted that he can’t stop thinking about her in the main villa.

The fact that none of the Islanders know what their partners have been up to means that they will be entering the re-coupling ceremony completely blind.

The girls will return from Casa Amor to see if the boys have remained faithful or not – and if the men have chosen to couple up with another girl and the original girl returns solo then she risks being dumped from the island, and vice versa.

The video postcards sparked controversy in the ITV2 series last year when Dani Dyer was shown a clip of her boyfriend, Jack Fincham, being greeted by his ex in Casa Amor.

Dani broke down in tears in the Beach Hut after Jack came face to face with his ex Ellie Jones.

Last year, the video postcard generated thousands of complaints for the 'cruel treatment' of Dani

Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard says he WOULD couple up with Jourdan Raine instead of Amy Hart

The former pen salesman remained completely loyal to Dani throughout his time in Casa Amor but the brunette beauty was not told that alongside the clip.

The producers were slammed for their “cruel treatment” of the Islander, generating over 2,500 Ofcom complaints as it became the most complained about episode of Love Island in history.

This isn’t the only Love Island rite of passage that has been axed from this series, with bosses also opting to cut the iconic lie detector challenge from the show in the wake of a series of reality TV suicides in recent months.
