Love Island Scot Laura Anderson finds love with the boy next door

Love Island star Laura Anderson has found love with the boy next door and is planning to move to Scotland with him when lockdown is over.

The 31-year-old, who went public with her new boyfriend Tom Brazier last week on Instagram, has revealed the personal trainer is her neighbour and they met while walking their dogs.

Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mail, Laura, from Stirling, told how they started out as friends but one thing led to another and they are now isolating together in their apartment complex in Chiswick, west London.

The former flight attendant, who caused a stir when she posted a steamy video of her doing a couple’s workout with Tom, 36, says being in lockdown with him feels like she has been given a second chance at Love Island.

Laura and Tom work out in a video posted on Instagram.

Laura, who finished runner-up in the 2018 season of the hit ITV show, said: “It’s an amazing situation and very unexpected. I’ve known Tom since January.

“We live in the same complex and we used to stop to say hi when we took our dogs to the park. I needed a new PT so I approached him.

“We became friends, which was nice to do first. We started walking the dogs together and watching TV.

“Then one night, six weeks into my training, one thing led to another. He had no clue I had been on Love Island.

Laura and Tom are isolating together during the coronavirus lockdown.

“We were boyfriend and girlfriend for a few weeks and then lockdown happened. We both live by ourselves so we decided to isolate together.

“Lockdown is like a second chance at Love Island. It’s going much better than it did in the show.

“It’s been amazing. I cook and he trains me. I couldn’t be with someone who didn’t like dogs so Tom ticked that box right away.”

Until now, Laura has not been lucky in love. She was dumped twice on the show, first by scientist Wes Nelson, 22, and then by footballer Jack Fowler, 24.

Although she did find love with Paul Knops, 32, it didn’t last outside the villa, nor did her on-off relationship with series one winner Max Morley, 26.

Tom, who grew up in Winchester, Hampshire, trains the world’s top female bodybuilders.

Laura said: “I’ve never met anyone like him. He’s driven and business-minded like me. He’s a strong guy and is caring as well. My family are going to love him.”
