Last night’s instalment of Love Island saw some blistering rows, a lot of kissing and a declaration of love.

Just another night in the villa. Here’s what went down.

I love you, man

After a tense period following Yewande Biala’s elimination, the declaration of love between best pals Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard was just so pure.

The pair moved up a level with their BFF status on the terrace sharing tears and kiss – much to the enjoyment of fans. Remember that backrub?

As Tommy confided in Curtis about his feelings for Molly-Mae Hague he then opened up on his feelings about Curtis.

‘It’s mad, we came in here together and didn’t know what to expect, and we’ve both found what we were looking for, it’s special,’ he shared.

‘But in all honesty, coming from the heart, I could not have asked to meet a better guy, you’re my brother. I can talk to you about anything, I trust you with anything.

‘It’s mad because we came in and found love, I think, also I have come in and found a brother for life.’

Tommy then admitted he was tearing up leading Curtis to also get emotional and tell Tommy: ‘I haven’t met someone like you before, you are a raw… you are what you are.’

The pair then leaned into each other for a hug and a kiss on the lips. Bless.

Kissgate

The other dramatic kiss of the night was nowhere near as joyful as Tommy and Curtis’ as Danny Williams and Arabella Chi managed to rile most of the Islanders up with their ‘disrespectful’ PDA.

No sooner had Danny dumped Yewande were him and his new squeeze locking lips in full view of everyone.

And Yewande’s best pals Amber Gill and Anna Vakili pulled him up on it.

‘It’s just unfortunate how people can hold a grudge for me doing what’s best for myself,’ Danny declared.

Do you mind? (Picture: ITV)

Amber later vents in the Beach Hut: ‘I just think people can talk all they like but actions speak louder than words and I think that Arabella and Danny are conducting themselves in such a bad way that I just feel like “what do I have in common with you?” It just doesn’t sit right with me.’

The kiss causes further backlash when, spotting Danny talking in the kitchen, Amber calls him over to the daybeds.

A showdown between Danny and Amber left everyone on the edge with the former accusing Amber of ‘causing a problem’.

Amber later snapped back with: ‘Your word doesn’t really mean much at this point, does it?’

Anna also was accused of being ‘bare childish’ by Jordan Hames for shouting ‘byeeee’ at Danny.

Amid the accusations of childishness and all the drama, it was nice to see Amber and Anna stand up for their friend. Don’t @ me.

The next morning, Arabella attempts to patch things up with the group and it seems like things are semi-ok for now.

Tom’s change of heart

Tom Walker has been grovelling for forgiveness since his now infamous ‘all mouth’ comment to Maura Higgins on Love Island this week but now it looks like he might do a U-turn.

Despite them acting all cutesy, Tom later confided in Jordan that he’s having second thoughts.

‘You never know do you? If another girl comes in that makes a beeline for me and she’s fit and she ticks all my boxes,’ he says.

‘The thing with me and Maura is, between me and you, she doesn’t necessarily tick all my boxes.

‘She’s a bit OTT, she’s a bit too loud and attention seeking and sometimes that’s not me. She makes me cringe a little bit.

‘On the other side, I enjoy her banter, I enjoy the energy. So I can’t have it all my own way.’

After all that Tom? Really?

Better not let Maura find out you said that.

Molly-Mae’s unintentional revelation

After managing to remain coy to the others about the bits she and Tommy have done, Molly-Mae continued to insist that nothing has been happening – even when quizzed by Maura.

Paranoid that Tommy has been telling people what’s been going on, seeing him head up for a terrace chat with Curtis caused her to freak out.

Bits have been done (Picture: ITV)

In a flap, she told Michael: ‘Obviously we’ve been doing bits. I’ve denied, denied it, denied it. And I know that as soon as he cracks a smile, that’s it. And I know what he’s like.’

Eventually, Tommy finds out she’s been wondering – and goes to confront her and calm her down about her worries. ‘I’m not like that, I don’t need to brag about it,’ he tells her.

Besides, he was actually having wholesome bonding with Curtis the whole time.

Stand out moments:

  • Can some tell Curtis his terrible rapping is not helping
  • What were Jordan and Anna up to?
  • ‘Yay!’
  • Curtis’ timely ‘no drama please’ t-shirt
  • ‘Some of you snore so loudly.’ – ok Arabella
  • ‘My fanny flutters were gone through the roof.’ – ok Maura
  • Molly-Mae plucking Tommy’s eyebrows
  • Fierce competition in balloon bursting/quiz challenge (petition ITV to make this a series?)
  • 15 percent of men have a 7 inch… it’s too early for this

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
