Love Island recap: Siannise and Luke T say the ‘L’ word as Jess and Ched hit the Hideaway

The fun-filled episode was a much-needed reset (Picture: ITV)

Love Island brought in a much-needed dose of fun on tonight’s episode, with everyone feeling loved up, a lot of stupid challenges, and even a sexy rendez-vous in the Hideaway.

Heck, we even got the first ‘I Love Yous’ of the season from heartmelters Siannise and Luke T.

With the show coming to an end in just three days time, it seems everyone is letting their hair down and enjoying their time together.

Which is honestly, just what we all needed to watch as we prepare to say goodbye to the series.

So what did you miss? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s everything you need to know from day 40 in the Love Island villa.

Demi feels like a wedding belle on date with Luke M

Considering these two aren’t even in a couple officially, it seems they’re enjoying their time together.

But the sneaky Love Island bosses sent them to a beautiful flower covered gazebo for their date by a lake – with Demi wearing a white dress.

They both realised it did look a little like a wedding, but thankfully saw the funny side and decided it was probably best that they weren’t skipping a few steps and heading down the aisle.

‘Our second date is our wedding ceremony!,’ Demi laughed. ‘This is absolutely stunning. I don’t think you can get much better than this.’

Luke M then admitted: ‘I do see a future with you – we’ve been getting on so well. I do not want to date anyone else.’

With an orchestra playing A Thousand Years (which is from the Twilight soundtrack, fellow former Twihards unite) the pair slow-danced over a bridge.

Which definitely wasn’t set-up at all, but was pretty cute regardless.

Siannise and Luke T get their fairytale ending

When you’re thinking of a perfect date for Siannise, it was only ever going to be at a fairytale style castle, wasn’t it?

Heading out for a romantic lunch on the grounds with Luke T, the couple were just their plan cute selves as they spoke about what they plan when they get out.

They even spoke marriage and babies in the years to come – is there another LI wedding on the way?

‘It’s true that good things come to those who wait,’ Siannise tells him. ‘I’ve always wanted the Prince Charming, the fairy tale… I never thought I’d ever find it. But I just knew with you – you are my fairy tale.

He responded: ‘When I look at you I just feel at peace. It’s just comfort, happiness, just ease. When I’m with you I feel at home and that’s how I know.’

Then they both dropped the L bomb and also had a slow-dance.

Secret mission day for the boys

The boys were given the chance of a party that night by completing a series of tasks and pranks on the girls – which are always hilarious.

Mike got each of the girls to give him a kiss on the cheek, Finn got Demi to give him a foot massage, Ched dropped Jess’s glasses in the pool and made Siannise get them for him, and Luke M got a mouth full of salty tea after demanding things off Paige five separate times.

It ended with them all jumping in the pool together – except Paige, who was literally dragged in against her will – which as you can imagine, did not sit pretty.

However, the guys succeeded, and drinks were flowing in time for Talent Show night in the villa.

Luckily Finn’s girlfriend is a singer and can give him some tips (Picture: Rex)

Love Island’s Got Talent

Turns out that these pretty people aren’t just pretty faces and figures of the latest Pretty Little Thing campaign – they’ve actually got some secret skills.

We finally got to see Luke M turn full Biebs and get his guitar out for a song, with Mike playing the drums.

Luke T and Siannise performed a full dance routine complete with choreography for their segment, while Priscilla went solo to show off her dancing skills.

Demi gave everyone a raunchy education and history lesson (we’re talking oral sex competitions in Rome), and Paige showed off her singing abilities with dance track Show Me Love.

Finn also got dressed up in a towel and showercap for his ‘shower singing tutorial’ which was definitely nice to look at… if not to hear (soz, Finn!)

Jess and Ched then performed a raunchy aerobics routine a la Call On Me – and won a night in the Hideaway for their efforts.

To be fair… I didn’t see any of the others bench-pressing their other halves in their routines!

The pair didn’t even make it to the Hideaway before getting their hands all over each other – and more power to them.

They’ve spent two weeks spending every moment in their relationship with at least eight other people, they needed their alone time.

And what we got as a result made us blush with the pair barely opening their prosecco before pinning each other to walls.

Probably not the mot comfortable viewing if your mum’s in the room, but love is definitely in the air and these guys are taking it in.

Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
