Love Island: Nas and Eva AND Rebecca and Jordan are DUMPED from the villa in shock mass ousting

Nas Majeed and Eva Zapico, as well as Rebecca Gormley and Jordan Waobikeze were ousted from the Love Island villa on Monday night in a shock mass ousting.

Unbeknown to the Islanders, the public had been asked to vote for their favourite couples following Sunday’s episode, with the results being revealed the next day.

Rebecca and Jordan had first been announced as the duo set to leave the villa and, after their fellow contestants bid them farewell, a second phone chime was heard ringing out before it was revealed that Nas and Eva would also be going home.

Although two couples left the villa, fans will have to wait until Tuesday to see the fallout of Eva and Nas’ departure, as the episode ended just after their names were read out as the second couple to be dumped.

For Rebecca and Jordan, the news comes as the 21-year-old model and carer had only just found her perfect man, after spending some time in the villa as a single lady.

Speaking after her exit, she said: ‘I’m not gonna lie like, I am sad. I’ve left people behind who I know I’ve made bonds with that I’ll have these friendships for the rest of my life.’

And they're off: Also during the episode, Rebecca Gormley and Jordan Waobikeze were seen packing their bags on Monday, after being voted least popular couple by the public

And Jordan, 24, said that although his time in the villa is over, he’s ‘glad’ he met Rebecca.

He added: ‘I’m glad I met Rebecca, she’s a great girl. Whether or not things progress… We’re just going to have to wait and see.’

But Rebecca doesn’t have high hopes for their romance outside of the South African villa, as she confessed: ‘I mean, the chances of us becoming boyfriend and girlfriend on the outside are pretty slim, but I never say never.’

Both booted out couples met during the Casa Amor split last week, meaning they have only been in their respective pairs for a few days.

For Eva and Nas, the public vote comes after the 23-year-old builder broke the heart of 21-year-old Demi Jones, as he came back from Casa Amor with Eva on his arm, whilst Demi was still single and hoping they could resume their romance.

The style adviser has since moved on and started getting to know Luke Mabbott, and the pair shared a kiss during Monday’s episode.

The result with the two least popular couples leaving the villa shows something of a dramatic turnaround for Nas, who at one point was deemed one of the most popular contestants as he struggled to find love with any of the girls.

And as things looked up when he was successfully paired with Demi Jones, the public rooted enthusiastically for the couple – until Nas dumped her for Eva Zapico during Casa Amor week.

Nas’ ousting came as Demi Jones was seen enjoying a date with Luke Mabbott, who had recently been dumped by Natalia Zuppa.

The singletons got to know each other as Demi asked: ‘Why have we not pursued this before?’

While Natalia told Luke that she just wanted to ‘be friends’ just one day after he picked her to join the main villa – with the beauty telling her pals that there was ‘no sexual chemistry whatsoever’ between them.

However, Monday’s show saw Luke reflect on his single status with Mike Boateng asking him to consider dating another newly single islanders.

Encouraging his pal, Mike asked: ‘What do you think of Demi?’ to which Luke replied: ‘She’s such a nice girl.’

Urging Luke to consider his options, the police officer told him: ‘I honestly think that Demi is an incredible girl and I think maybe cast a glancing eye on her a little bit and see what she’s about. Be open.’

Later in the beach hut, Luke teased a potential romance with Demi as he said: ‘I think that I kind of have to give it a chance and see where things go with Demi and see what kind of happens.’

Meanwhile, she too is entertaining the idea of Luke as she said: ‘We’re both in a way single together.
