Love Island host Caroline Flack reveals she’s been ‘breadcrumbed’ as she opens up about romance

Caroline Flack briefly addressed her love life on This Morning as she revealed she has been “breadcrumbed” multiple times.

The Love Island host, who will be back in the villa to introduce new singletons on Monday night, was grilled by Alison Hammond about her own love life.

Asked what she thinks the next big phrase to come out of Love Island will be, Flack replied “breadcrumbing,” before explaining: “It’s when you leave little bits of bread for someone, when you lead somebody on.”

She added: “I’ve been breadcrumbed a few times.”

Flack insisted she doesn’t have her eye on anybody in the villa, despite appearing to confirm she is single, while Hammond joked she was hoping to couple up with AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis.

It comes days after Flack was reported to have called time on her romance with rugby player Danny Cipriani.

The pair had allegedly been dating for eight weeks and were spotted enjoying a romantic weekend in Somerset last month.

“Caroline and Danny had a lot of fun together and she’s very fond of him – but long-term it wasn’t going to work,” a source told The Sun Online.

“Caroline has a busy summer ahead of her and is already moving on by dating other people.”

The insider also claimed that the pair were “remaining friends” while Flack is already “moving on dating other people until she finds the right person”.

This Morning is on ITV, weekdays at 10.30am. Love Island is on ITV2, Monday at 9pm.
