Love Island host Caroline Flack confesses she has a ‘huge crush’ on a friend: ‘We message a lot!’

Caroline Flack has revealed that she has a “huge crush” on a friend, as she spilled the gossip on her love life in the Love Island Beach Hut.

Flack, who hosts the ITV2 dating show, admitted that she wanted to take a certain relationship from “friendship to the next level”.

“I’ve got a huge crush on somebody at the minute,” Flack confessed. “We message quite a lot but I can’t seem to take it from friendship to the next level.

“If you’re out there, and I’m sending you friendly messages, they mean more!”

Flack remained silent on who she’s crushing on, although seemed reassured by Alison Hammond telling her that she thinks the person probably knows how she feels because they message a lot.

Last week, Flack told Hammond that she had been “breadcrumbed” before as she explained what she thinks will be the term of the summer on this year’s series.

“It’s when you leave little bits of bread for someone, when you lead somebody on,” she explained to Hammond. “I’ve been breadcrumbed a few times.”

Flack was most recently linked to rugby ace Danny Cipriani after the pair were spotted enjoying a romantic weekend away in Somerset.

But sources claim that the romance ended after eight weeks of dating despite “having a lot of fun together”.

“Caroline and Danny had a lot of fun together and she’s very fond of him – but long-term it wasn’t going to work,” a source told The Sun Online.

“Caroline has a busy summer ahead of her and is already moving on by dating other people.”

The presenter was in a relationship with Andrew Brady last year, before their on-off engagement was called off for good in late 2018.

This Morning is on ITV, weekdays at 10.30am. Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm.
