Love Island first look: ‘I’m done’ Maura Higgins shocks Curtis Pritchard with bombshell

Love Island ended on a big cliffhanger last night when host Caroline Flack stormed into the Island club and announced either Michael Griffiths or Joanna Chimonides was going to be dumped.

Alongside this, it seems Curtis Pritchard has a big decision to make as Maura Higgins piles on the pressure for him to choose between her andnewcomer Francesca Allen.

But it seems Maura has come to the end of her tether with the professional Ballroom and Latin dancer.

During tonight’s episode, fans of the reality dating show are going to tune in and see Maura chatting to the other girls about the love triangle she has found herself in.

“I’m going to have to talk to Curtis and tell him that I want a decision,” she explains. “I’m not waiting any longer.”

Anna Vakili then gives her opinion and says: “He knows you enough to know if he just wants to get to know you and only you.”

“I’m done waiting!” The Irish model exclaims.

Later, Maura pulls Curtis aside for a chat and the pair head to the terrace.

“Well you know you’ve got a decision to make, and you’ve had, not a really long time but kind of a long time,” she giggles.

“Maybe you might have decided, or not? I’m wondering, where’s your head at?”

Clearly finding the whole situation awkward Curtis laughs in response, but eventually explains: “I’ve felt myself being drawn closer and closer to you.

“You look absolutely gorgeous. There are so many reasons why I would want to move things forward with you.”

However, Curtis could follow the compliment with an excuse as to why he doesn’t want to proceed with Maura.

Is the Irish contestant’s chance of a happy-ever-after gone?

Elsewhere on the show, Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk are questioning their relationship.

During last night’s episode, the pair were seen arguing with one another following the daily challenge which saw Anton kissing Anna on the lips.

Unhappy with his behaviour, Belle called him out in front of everyone and Anton was left embarrassed after she “mugged him off”.

Having spent the night on the sofa, and confiding in other Islanders, the pair will finally sit down with one another and air their differences in tonight’s instalment.

“I slept on the couch because I felt like it was an emotional rollercoaster last night,” Anton explains.

“Regardless of the situation, I think we’re going to disagree. The bottom line is that you feel I’ve mugged you off and I feel like you’ve mugged me off.”

Belle argues: “I know that I am a hot-head and that is something I have to work on. When I’ve fell for someone, they’ve hurt me and I’m scared of being hurt again.”

“You’ve got so many good qualities that I’m looking for. Yes, you’re a bit fiery and yes maybe you mugged me off a bit yesterday but there is so much good in you,” The scotsman continues.

“I feel like if you want to work at this, we can just get back to where we were. If that is what you want as well?”

Will Belle give Anton another chance?

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2.
