Love Island bosses announced the fifth series line-up yesterday and fans are already convinced they think they know who will win.
Despite viewers slamming the contestants for being a “joke of a line-up“, fans were quick to predict who they will like the most.
Revealing what viewers really think of the bunch, Ladbrokes announced its odds on this year’s hopeful romantics as they embark on the ITV show to find love.
Twelve islanders were announced, seven boys and five girls, including heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury’s little brother Tommy Fury and Strictly’s AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis.
The other contestants include Yewande Biala, Lucie Donlan, Amber Gill, Amy Hart, Anna Vakili, Anton Danyluk, Joe Garratt, Michael Griffiths, Sherif Lanre and Callum Macleod.
According to the bookies, air hostess Amy is flying high as a fan-favourite with odds of just 4/1 to win the show.
For the boys, viewers have their eyes on Tommy to be crowned king of the villa with odds of 5/1.
“Michael’s chances of winning have already seemingly been extinguished”
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes
It’s not such good news for one contestant as fans have already cast their thoughts on him.
Firefighter Michael, who describes himself as “straight-talking”, “open and energetic”, received odds of 12/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s early days but punters can’t get enough of this year’s batch of Islanders and while Tommy and Amy are proving popular, Michael’s chances of winning have already seemingly been extinguished.”
The line-up also faced backlash after fans deemed that it fails to show diverse bodies.
Former islander Alexandra Cane, 27, took to Twitter to vent her frustrations after the line-up was revealed.
She wrote: “Where the curvy girls at?”
TV bosses have included a plus-sized beauty in this year’s cast, 28-year-old Anna Vakili, a pharmacist from London.
