A POLICE probe into former cop Love Island star Mike Boateng concerns more than one allegation of misconduct.
The Sun told this week how the 24-year-old is under investigation after Aaliyah Read, then 17, claims he approached her while in uniform and promised to show her “a good time.”
But sources said the former copper with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is suspected of improper conduct on other occasions.
And they also claimed he has come under fire allegedly after being caught sleeping on duty.
It is understood that a disciplinary hearing has been scheduled.
If found guilty his name will be placed on a “barred” list preventing him from working for any other police force.
The verdict will also appear on criminal record checks into his background.
Last week The Sun on Sunday first revealed how he had resigned before going on Love Island — but was under investigation before he quit over his alleged conduct while on duty – before he quit the job.
A GMP spokesman said: “Allegations were made regarding an officer in 2018 and 2019 which are currently under investigation by the Professional Standards Branch. It is inappropriate to comment further while the investigation is ongoing.”
Mr Boateng has denied any wrongdoing. ITV, who screen Love Island, have been asked to comment.
