Love Is Blind’s Giannina Gibelli celebrated her 26th birthday in style this weekend – despite staying in for coronavirus quarantine.

The star, who is still with her other half Damian Powers from the Netflix smash series, was surprised by her beau with a bunch of surprises to keep her spirits up while they self-isolate together.

Because, hey, everyone deserves a little fun on their birthday, right?

Covering the house in glittery streamers and dressing up for a night on the town, the couple made the most of their time together with a little magic night with the help of absent family and friends.

Giannina then posted photos of the couple looking loved up together as she munched on birthday cake and played with balloons.

Basically, it was super cute, and the effort didn’t go unnoticed by Gi who praised Damian for giving her something special.

Posting a series of photos on Instagram, Gi wrote: ‘Anyone who knows me knows I’m like this big birthday freak.

‘I love to go all out and make you feel super special and you have every right to spend it however you’d like – it’s dope to see that this year didn’t change that.’

‘Yeah I wasn’t excited about it for a while but the sweetness that my friends and family poured into me made me so happy (and Dame managed to surprise me like 4 times in quarantine somehow),’ she added.

‘We celebrated life and i think we all needed that thank you for all of the lovely birthday wishes,’ she added. ‘I’m gonna go nurse my hangover now.’

Despite the pair’s wedding ending in disaster on the series, the couple have since reunited and are trying to make things work – and now they’re stuck together during quarantine as the world fights coronavirus.

They’ve mainly been making use of their TikToks with some hilarious videos including an epic flip the switch, and have been talking about their relationship in Q+As.

While they’re working hard, they’ve both admitted that their relationship is taking work, and they’re prepared to put the effort in.

Love Is Blind is available now on Netflix.
