Filming in the pods took place in Atlanta which is renowned for its TV and film production.
Some of the cast members, including Lauren, told Refinery29 they could spend up to four hours in the pods.
The first four days consisted of up to 18 hours of filming, with some of the cast members sleeping in trailers.
Cast member Kenny said: “The first four days we filmed on average I’d say 18 to 20 hours. We slept in trailers and they were correctional facility beds. The design was to just strip us down from our comfort level.”
