Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey have been spotted on an outing with their baby son Leo-Hunter for the first time since he was born during a traumatic labour.

The former Made In Chelsea star and her fiancé, both 31, looked happy and relaxed as they stepped out in Chelsea with seven-week-old Leo in a baby carrier strapped to Ryan’s front.

The couple bundled up warm amid the chilly temperatures, with Louise wearing a tan suede coat with a white fur lining, jogging bottoms, oversized scarf and a yellow woolly hat.

Ryan was similarly dressed in a dark padded coat with a matching woolly hat, while Leo wore a patterned babygrow.

Louise and Ryan were seen smiling and chatting as they walked, before stopping off for takeaway coffees together.

It comes after Louise opened up about almost dying during her labour, which left her in hospital for five weeks.

She told her followers as she announced the birth: ’The reason I have been absent for weeks is because I have been very unwell.

‘[Five] weeks ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Leo-Hunter Libbey weighing in at 7lbs. Unfortunately it wasn’t the easiest start for either of us. One ended up in NICU and the other ended up in ICU.

‘Whilst Leo made a fairly quick recovery, I have been recovering in hospital for a month with various serious complications.’

Louise added: ‘In all honesty I never imagined that so many bad things could happen to me, but to dance with death twice brings a whole new view of the world – a stark reminder of how short and sacred life really is.’

She also thanked Ryan for his support during the ‘hardest year of her life’ and for stepping up when she was gravely unwell.

Sharing photos of Ryan with Leo, Louise wrote: ‘He’s still doing the LION’S share of the work between the two of us.

‘Ryan I commend you. I don’t know many men who would be able to handle this situation with such grace and fortitude. You are my rock and I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through.’
