Louise Redknapp, 47, enjoyed a relaxing seaside break in Plymouth on Thursday, just days after her ex-husband Jamie and his new wife Frida welcomed their first child together. Louise looked cosy as she posed in front of a stunning vista and showed off her toned physique.
The musical theatre star, who divorced Jamie after 19 years of marriage in 2017, flaunted her tanned legs in a dressing gown as she sat reading.
In one snap, which she’d captioned “morning Plymouth”, the singer could be seen lounging in front of the pier, with a beautiful backdrop of boats and buildings behind her.
In the second picture, the star snuggled up with a pair of warm wooly socks and had her long legs stretched out next to a cup of tea.
“A morning cuppa made by the lovely @sonnylgrieveson”, she captioned the post, which she shared with her 726,000 Instagram followers.
The star wore her golden tresses in a stylish updo and looked laid back in her loungewear.
“Stunning as always Louise,” commented Instagram user James_uk21.
Under her Instagram post, Hausofjosie wrote: “Love this pic Lou it looks so beautiful. That view is just perfect… Hope you have the most amazing last week as Violet. Wish I could be there.” (sic)
“Can’t wait to see you in show tomorrow, it’s been a long time coming,” added Michwhatman_ with a red love heart emoji. (sic)
Jamie continued: “We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough. So excited for him to meet my boys.”
The ex-Liverpool footballer married his pregnant girlfriend Frida, 38, at Chelsea Registry Office in London just one month before she gave birth to their son.
The sports star was previously married to former Eternal singer Louise between 1998 and 2017 and the couple share two sons: Charley, 16, and Beau, 12.
While Louise, 47, admitted in her book, You’ve Got This: And Other Things I Wish I Had Known, that she wished she had tried harder to save her marriage, she appears to be in a better place now.
The mother-of-two has spoken candidly about her dating life in a previous interview with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine.
Speaking about her sons, she explained: “Oh yeah, they always say: ‘When are you going to [date]?’ Dating just takes time,” she revealed.
“It sounds basic, but I’ve got two things that are really important to me right now: my kids, because I want to be a solid part of their life, and my work.
“Right now, that’s enough for me, I’m not saying forever. I’m learning to just be OK with myself. I’m not loving myself, but I’ve been OK. I’m getting there,” she concluded.
