Louise Minchin: ‘It was a blur’ BBC Breakfast host on ‘nervy’ 50th birthday dilemma


It seemingly appeared the broadcaster had an eventful night as she revealed that much of it was a “blur” of “wild dancing”.

She said: “The next hours passed in a blur of laughing, chatting and wild dancing. I loved it; catching up with friends, introducing new friends to old ones.”

Reminiscing about her “favourite moment”, she referenced former Strictly Come Dancing judge, Dame Darcey Bussell.

The mother-of-two said the former ballerina, 50, was “whirling” her around the dance floor, coming dangerously close to those standing nearby.
