Earlier this year during the first lockdown, the PM was diagnosed with nearly fatal coronavirus, that saw him be hospitalised.
Louise continued: “That’s where my mind went when I heard the news, through a headset, that the Prime Minister had been hospitalised with Covid-19.”
The news sent shockwaves throughout the UK and Louise was on hand to first report the story as a longstanding host of BBC Breakfast.
The 52-year-old first joined the programme in 2006 and co-hosts the programme alongside Dan Walker.
