Louis Vuitton puts Virgil Abloh-inspired videogame on its website – EsquireMe

Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter runway show was set on an imaginary New York Street. According to the fashion label, that street inspired the new retro-inspired video game now posted on the brand’s website.

The game features a figure running past storefronts and brick walls, jumping over obstacles such as garbage cans, construction cones and telephone booths. Players collect Louis Vuitton logos to increase their score.

The video game arrives just days after the July 12 opening of Louis Vuitton’s pop-up boutique in Manhattan.

The fall/winter collection was met with outrage when it was debuted, mainly down to the many references to Michael Jackson. Unfortunately for the French label, the show debuted within weeks of a shocking documentary that renewed allegation s of child sexual abuse.

In response to the criticism, Louis Vuitton has removed all references to him from their website and communications.
