French fashion house Louis Vuitton (LV) has created two character skins (outfits for playable characters) that will debut at the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2019). The competitive series will conclude on Nov. 10 with a grand finals event in Paris, where LV’s headquarters is located.

LV entered into a multi-year partnership with Riot Games in September that includes both physical and digital design work for Worlds 2019. This includes a one-of-a-kind trophy travel case for the “Summoner’s Cup.” LV has designed similar items for sports events including the FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, and the America’s Cup.

For Worlds 2019, LV’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections Nicolas Ghesquière designed outfits for League of Legends (LoL) champions Qiyana and Senna. The two characters will wear these creations during a performance as members of a virtual hip-hop group called True Damage during the Worlds 2019 opening ceremony in Paris.

True Damage is made up of LoL champions Yasuo, Qiyana, Akali, Senna, and Ekko. The group is voiced by real-life artists Jeon “Soyeon” So-yeon of South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, Jared “Duckwrth” Lee, Umar “Thutmose” Ibrahim, Rebecca Maria “Becky G” Gomez, and Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer.

Riot released a video teaser of the True Damage skins, including the designs by LV. Players will be able to purchase the True Damage skins, as well as Qiyana’s Prestige LV skin, on the day of the championships, Nov. 10. Senna’s LV skin will be released early 2020, and capsule collections designed by the brand are in development, per The Washington Post.

“It’s clear that gaming sits at the center of pop culture, and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with such great talent to showcase what League represents to the world.” Lead producer of League of Legends Jessica Nam said in a release.

True Damage is a successor to virtual hip-hop group K/D, which debuted during Worlds 2018. LoL champions Ahri, Evelynn, Kai’Sa, and Akal performed a song called “Pop/Star” that has garnered over 275M views on YouTube. Soon after, K/DA became the fifth female act to top Billboard’s World Digital sales charts.
