Louis Tomlinson loves to listen to One Direction when he’s drunk and honestly, same

Louis Tomlinson has admitted he sometimes has a One Direction marathon after a few drinks, and we have never related so hard in our lives.

The former band member, 28, confessed he liked to put on the group’s music every now and again and listen through their chart-topping anthems.

He told Billboard: ‘I’m not going to lie, I probably have two or three moments a year, and it’ll just happen – normally after being drunk.

‘We’ll get back to the house and have bit of a One Direction marathon. I have to be a bit drunk, because otherwise I think it’s a bit naff.

‘But if I’ve had a few drinks, I love reminiscing on the songs, thinking about when they were written and stuff like that.’

Louis admitted one song that will always have special significance to him is Clouds, from the band’s 2014 album, Four, which reminds him of playing to hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

He added: ‘We opened the tour with it and – I’ve got goosebumps now – every time I hear that song, it takes me back to that stadium tour.’

Touring the world looks a little different these days now that the band are all solo artists in their own right, and Louis will be taking his new album, Walls, on the road from March until July.

Louis told MTV that it took some getting used to, to not have the rest of the band on stage with him as he had for so many years: ‘I noticed the space. All of a sudden, I’ve got to cover loads of the f**king stage, so that took me a second.’

Louis’s new album hit the number one spot in 30 countries on iTunes after its release, and he took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, writing: ‘Thank you so much for the support so far on the album. You’re all incredible! Your support blows my mind.’
