IF you’re a fan of Lotus biscuits you’ll be as excited as we are about the launch of a new dunkable spread that you can enjoy on the go.
The new snacks are called “Biscoff and Go” and will retail at just £1 a go.
A bit like a sweet version of Dairy Lea Dunkers, the sweet treats feature a portion of Biscoff spread and mini bread sticks to dunk in.
According to Pretty 52, the new pots will be available in local convenience stores across the UK including Nisa, Costcutter and Spar.
On Twitter, shoppers were very excited about the new launch.
User Donna Braugh tweeted: “You can keep your dairylea dunkers I will have these coming in the next few months. Pick these NEW Lotus Biscoff and Go Snack Packs up for £1 each (Spar, Nisa and Costcutter will be 1st in selling them).”
And Fabienne added: “So excited about this.”
The new snackpots are also totally vegan and suitable for anyone with dairy intolerances.
They’ve been available in the US before, but demand from UK fans made the brand decide to launch them over here too.
A spokesperson for Lotus, said: “Our customers can enjoy the taste of Lotus Biscoff anytime, anywhere and in a handy dunk and go format.
“Biscoff & Go is the perfect snack and another way in which retailers can benefit from the nation’s continued obsession with the unique caramelised flavour of Lotus Biscoff.”
Earlier this year, the biscuit brand launched amazing new ice creams to great fanfare.
The cold treats are available in 95 Waitrose stores across the UK and cost £3.98 for a pack of three.
If the new portable snacks are equally delicious then we can’t wait to try them.
Each stick features a crisp outer layer of Belgian milk chocolate containing crunchy Lotus Biscoff pieces, a delicious layer of Lotus Biscoff spread and real dairy Lotus Biscoff ice cream.
The only other available Lotus Biscoff products currently available in the UK are the biscuits themselves and the Lotus Biscoff spread.
The biscuits are available in most UK supermarkets and usually retail at £1.25 a pack – though you can often find supermarket deals by shopping around.
The spread normally costs £2.25 or more. The cheapest option we could find was £2 for a pot at Asda.
