Loose Women viewers divided as Stacey Solomon brings baby Rex on live show


Loose Women viewers were split today over Stacey Solomon bringing her son Rex to the studio

In this afternoon’s episode, it was Loose Women cast member Stacey Solomon’s first day back on the panel.

The 29-year-old looked gorgeous as she presented on the panel of the first time since giving birth to her son Rex.

To the joy of the other Loose Women ladies, the X Factor star brought along little Rex to accompany her on the first part of the programme.

However, some viewers didn’t like the idea of baby rex being on television alongside his mum.

One said: “Can she put the baby down now? Poor thing is trying to sleep.”

While another said: “Why the hell is Stacey Solomon at work holding her baby son. This really is the norm now isn’t it. If only us mums could bring our babies to work. She lease get her off my screen… unbelievable.”

“Poor baby Rex, why does Stacey like to torture her child? Being on Loose Women is the worst possible punishment I could think of” moaned a third.

Plenty of fans adored Rex’s appearance and loved the fact he was on today’s show.

One said:“Look how cute little Rex is on Loose Women. He’s adorable.”

While another gushed:“Rex is just the cutest little chap. Lovely to see him on telly today!”

“How amazing Stacey Solomon doing live TV with baby Rex! I sometimes can’t do the supermarket with my two” joked a third.

Despite being thrilled to return to the show, Stacey did confess some first day nerves.

She said: “I never thought I’d sit in this chair and be nervous but when it’s your first day back your tummy goes a bit.”

Loose Women continues on Friday at 12.30pm on ITV.
