London theatre outrage: Stunned cast spot couple doing THIS lewd act for an HOUR

The stunned actor tweeted about what he had seen last night. Apparently, the entire cast and crew working on the show at the Dominion Theatre on Friday night were all aware of what had been happening in the audience when the lights went down. It seems it wasn’t as dark as the couple in question had thought, since their risky sex act was visible to those on the stage. According to Jay’s post, the lewd behaviour went on for the entire First Act, which lasts over an hour.

Jay tweeted: “We had such an enthusiastic crowd tonight. Especially the lady in the audience who gave her boyfriend a ‘hand’.

“Spread through the cast/crew like wildfire. Exciting, but please arrive at the theatre ready to watch & not to play. At least try to beat in time to the music, love.”

One of his fans couldn’t resist asking: “Was he big?”

Jay replied: “Wouldn’t like to comment, but bless her she was very patient/determined trooping on for a majority of the first act. (Which runs over an hour).”

While Jay and many of the comments from fans took it in their stride, other rightfully pointed out how inappropriate such an act was during a family show when there were children in the audience. Not only that, but there are numerous young cast members on stage throughout the show, as well.

One wrote: “There’s a ‘Big’ related pun in there somewhere, but it’s far too disturbing to think anyone thinks that’s acceptable in a public place where kids are.”

Another added: “Omg I was at the show last night. Thank god for the cheap seats on this occasion by the sound of it. Mortified that behaviour could be seen on stage considering how many children are in the cast. Amazing Show though, Jay.”

A third said: “Only saw this tweet this morning and couldn’t quite believe what I was reading. I was waiting for a punchline to say it was a joke…..sadly not. A shame for the cast and crew and I would imagine excruciatingly uncomfortable for anyone else in the audience sitting nearby…”

According to comments, this is not the first time something like this has happened at the Dominion Theatre, with similar behaviour reported during a performance of Bat Out Of Hell.

McGuinness stars alongside Kimberley Walsh and Matthew Kelly in the stage musical version of the classic Tom Hanks big-screen comedy, which is playing for a strictly limited period.

Big The Musical is playing at the Dominion Theatre in London until November 2.
